the 4 pin atx doesnt reach the motherboard!!! dammit! so currently my psu resides at the top of the case - anyone know where I can get a cable extender from in the uk?!

don't you hate that? that happened to me at first with my power supply, but the cable ended up stretching a bit.

Man just go ahead and cut and splice in some wire it's really no big deal. Personally I would have done that after about 5 minutes of cursing.
I've done this a couple times with extra wire from a old ps and some boxing tape, you don't really need to solder, but solder is certainly better (won't come appart. Getto sure but if it works I'm happy.
