Just picked up a Beretta 92FS, to get my step-daughter familiar with it before she goes off to Army basic (in a year or so).
She qualifies expert with it [M9] next year, she owns that pistol.
Same with the match White Oak AR-15 - qualify expert with the M-16, the AR is hers.
Now I just have to change the barrel, trigger, and have a smith put 'AMU pads' on the slide...

I never qualed for the M9 at basic. I hate to do that later at my unit. I don't know many noobies who still do.
