Right-o! Let's go with Toronto, since we got direct flights from hia. Now I need a place to live at. Where there?ebug9 wrote:

You only have to worry about French if you live in Quebec (or want a job near the Ontario/Quebec border). Everywhere else is pretty much English
I can't really speak for other cities as I haven't done much travelling outside Ontario and Quebec.
Not Toronto if you want a home NHL team to cheer for. They fill the stadium every game but the Maple Leafs suckUltrafunkula wrote:

Winston_Churchill or Pochsy would be able to answer the "Where to live" question better than I can.

Well let's skip that for a while then. How and where does one apply for a job? Do I call the Leafs front office directly or wat?ebug9 wrote:

Summer's been great this year. Very little rain with lots of sunshine and 35-30C temperatures. Too bad it only lasts 3 months
During the winter (November til the end of March) we usually get a few weeks of really cold temperatures (-25C to -30C) and at least 2 or 3 snow storms that dump at least 30cm. Normal temperature's probably around -10 to -20 in December/January/early February.

I can do without summer personally. I always bitch about the humidity but I kinda like how we get four distinct seasons here. Fall is the best season though and as much as I love variety i would not complain about living somewhere where it's 50-70F year-round with decent humidity and breezes. A storm every so often. Perfect

gimme a high of no more than 85 year round with an inch of rain every week, maybe a cool 2 month cool period of like 60 degree weather for cool weather crops and just enjoying cool air.Hurricane2k9 wrote:

Yeah that can get humid in the summers and quite cold in the winters lol. Droo I think that describes coastal LA.
Rick I'd say my upper limit of true comfort is 75... 90F is okay during the summer especially with a breeze but I wouldn't want that year round. I think Seattle has good weather although it can be rainy. New England is also quite nice except for the winters.

What happened to vuvuzelas? I haven't heard one in forever. I miss them.
winter out here sucks besides the rain. skin cracking cold ass winds and it's just depressing unless you snowboard.
