Correlation doesn't equal causation, but it's funny that now that the US has been downgraded, every country left on S&P's AAA list has universal health care.Karbin wrote:

Florida's credit rating was recently upgraded to AAA, they're moving to privatize healthcare.AussieReaper wrote:

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
Yes. As I said, correlation doesn't equal causation.13rin wrote:

Then you might as well as said:

Not quite... check the second one with a 3 A rate.13rin wrote:

Two out of three of the big credit groups still hold us at AAA status. Any economist will tell you the S & P downgrade was pure crap anyway.
Meh

Sorry, missed it. Just the same as ya'll missed my point.AussieReaper wrote:

Which is understandable really, since Canada isn't on the other side of the planet. So what was your point?13rin wrote:

I'd have thought your point to be invalidated, considering Canada.
My point is you had none. You're just looking for and excuse to take a post shot at the US. It's lame.

More like a pot shot at the right wingers saying universal health care ruins the economy, but thanks for playing.13rin wrote:

Which makes no sense as the US is moving toward Universal healthcare, hence the downgrade shouldn't have followed (by your logic). Yes, thanks for playing.AussieReaper wrote:

Since the universal health care bill (pun somewhat intended) is a large part of the increase in our debt under Obama, which is a proximate cause of the downgrade...yeah. That train of thought derails quickly.

Fucking Americanisms. UNIVERSAL health care, WORLD series this, WORLD series that.
I'd be pretty annoyed if my tax dollars went on to pay for people in other countries, or other worlds.

It's not an Americanism, ffs. It's common terminology.

I don't care where my tax money goes, it's not going to me and thus I deem it squandered.
So your ideal tax plan is "Tax everyone save jordan?"
