And the cold also depends on where you live. Down here by Anchorage and in the valley the winters are generally pretty mild, minus the usual 20 day -30F cold snap we get. The summers are nice too. But up in Fairbanks the winters are like -30F all the time, cold snaps to -60F and the summers are almost always around 100F

So far from 7 kids I've gotten $450. It's great working at a camp where most parents are loaded.
