anyway, hot as usual here, day time temps in the high 80's/90's this week. just got back from bishop where it was also hot.
it's not so bad there cause you can drive a half hour up into the mountains and fish in a a lush canyon where it's 65 degrees versus 95 in the valley.

6 inches of snow a few days ago. Might not seem like much, but it snows maybe once every five winters here, and when it does its usually less than an inch.
Friend of mine was in NZ about a week ago. Said it snowed for days and the ski lifts were closed. When he got to the ski fields, he said it was pretty much picture perfect - blue sky and everything open.

Wind and fucking rain as usual. In the last week. Handrail blew off my balcony. Manhole covers blew off the drains. Down pipe from the roof pulled 4 2inch bolts outta the wall and was sitting horizontal.
My 12x12ft wooden shed which is full of coal, lawnmores and loads of other heavy shit broke free of its foundation and is 6m further up the garden twisted and fucked............firewood.
Last year half my roof blew off. Teach me to build a house on a mountain looking at the Atlantic.
Fuck Ireland. If it wasn't for the Guinness id be off!
