No, Wake Island's shit. Daqing Oilfields is the most underrated map in the game.

Fuuuuuuuuuck Zatar Wetlands. Maybe if there were some flags on the northern half as well. It's pretty shit though.
Daqing is perfectly balanced and has so much to do and is great for all the forms of combat (infy, armor, heli, air).
Clean Sweep is decent. Songhua is good as well, though I get annoyed by it for some reason.
I also feel like Kubra was underrated, but in the sense that it's an ok map that I never got/get to play much of.
FuShe Pass needs more activity. Really huge map with lots to see and do. Too bad it gets overshadowed by Dragon Valley.

The 64 player version was too much but IMO a 32+ player server on the 32 player version was mint.

Aside from the odd 24/7 Daqing server that popped up, I never saw it in many rotations. I guess the hard(?)core BF2 fans know of Daqing and love it, but to the average BF2 player it's forgettable compared to Karkand or Sharqi or Wake.coolstorybro wrote:

yeah, it's definitely tough to find a good daqing server these days. you just have to get lucky on the servers that play all or most of the maps

and yes, fushe is probably my favorite chopper map (besides sharqi obv). really wish there were actually servers that still ran it
It's funny because over the years I'd see various clans/groups try out 24/7 Daqing; as soon as one dropped another would show up. Was nice to see people finally come around.
