He doesn't die in National Treasure.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
Of course he's immortal in Sharpe as he plays Sharpe, and Sharpe is the greatest man ever created!Jay wrote:

I think I'll finish the Hornblower series before I finish the Sharpe series. Sharpe turns up on every campaign/battlefield possible. I like the progression Hornblower goes through in rank and command, etc If there's any gap between Sharpes life between two books, you can bet the third book will transport him to some battle somewhere to account for the missing years.
Dead Island trailer theme music does that.Superior Mind wrote:

I only read one Hornblower book as a kid. I believe part of the plot had him swimming naked in a canal and commandeering a French or Spanish boat laden with wine. Very fuzzy.AussieReaper wrote:

I read the entire Patrick O'Brian series when I deployed though. Very cool series.

I've read a lot of the Sharpe ones, some of the newer ones set in India are particularly good, and all the Grail Quest (about a medieval English longbow man) and got a few others I haven't got round to yet, don't read anywhere near as much a I used toJay wrote:
