You may have noticed from my sig, that im a bit of an F1 fan, and that Ayrton Senna is/was/is the dude.
For any of u who may be interested, just read this on F1live.com...
(im copying & pasting, because this site has a habit of quickly committing news to "archive", ie, pay to view..)

The legendary 'Senna' name could return to Formula One sooner rather than later.

It is reported that Gerhard Berger, Ayrton Senna's former team-mate, may be considering giving a seat to his late friend's nephew, 22-year-old F3 driver Bruno.

Bruno Senna, who was just ten when his uncle died at Imola in 1994, is now a race winner in the British F3 category.

Even more intriguingly, Senna has travelled this year to some key spots on the formula one calendar, including Melbourne and Bahrain. He will probably appear in a Monaco support race.

Moreover, there is now a strong rumoured link between the young Senna and Berger, a part-owner - with Red Bull magnate Dietrich Mateschitz - of Toro Rosso.

Berger said: "Bruno reminds me of Ayrton a lot - both in appearance and his mind.
"

Germany's Bild publication suggests that Bruno could be fast-tracked to Formula One either later this year or for the 2007 season.

Senna confirmed to the newspaper that he is indeed determined to follow down his uncle's road.

"I want to be World Champion," Bruno Senna said. "In my family, we do not do things by half."

i dont thinkhe should be fast tracked due to his name, but if he turns out to be a kick ass driver it will be a shame if he is held back in anyway by a shitty car. as the press will give him loads if he cant live up to the name.

Hey Uber. I Also Love F1 and race go karts Have u read Senna's Biography by Christopher Hilton? Brilliant Life. I also suggest Mansell's Autobiography, thats a tail of suffering Itd be good if Bruno got into F1 but i think Nico Rosberg would wipe the floor with him Greg Mansell is also on his way and so is Piquet's lad. ALOT of sons

yeah mate, 'course ive read it.. and mansells too, it was a suprisingly great read.
if u into the books, try james hunts biog too... thats a cracking read!

cool that u race karts, id love to get into that at some stage.. meantime, ill stick to going to italy every other year

been to Imola once (tamburello naturally, site of senna's demise), and been to monza twice, inc september last year.

Im a Williams man myself.. so all eyes on Nico Rosberg this year, tho to be fair, figured he would have been better than he has showed so far on teh eurpoean tracks given his past experience.. maybe Williams is letting him down?

Senna warned against rapid F1 rise
Williams gives his view on Senna's rise

A strong start to his second F3 season in the UK
Frank Williams has warned Bruno Senna, the 22-year-old nephew of late triple World Champion Ayrton, against entering Formula One too soon.

Young Senna, whose uncle died in a Williams Renault in 1994, is presently leading the F3 championship in Britain.

Media reports this week point to the possibility of his Grand Prix debut in 2007 for the team - Toro Rosso - half-owned by Ayrton Senna's former McLaren team-mate, Gerhard Berger.

Despite the signing and apparent success in signing Nico Rosberg this year, Williams said slotting into a top ride immediately would be a 'risk' for a Grand Prix rookie.

But the 64-year-old also told Motorsport News that riding for a back-of-the-grid outfit might not be such a bad idea.

"If he were to tootle around at the back of the grid in a Midland car for a year," Williams said, "then you might be tempted to have a go if you thought he was better than the car."

....lol "tootle".  even in a midland, "tootling" would be almost 200mph!
Frank Williams tootles in his wheelchair, dunno about in an F1 car
