Man Down! Need patch help...

I've searched and didn't quite find the specific answers that I was looking for, so I thought I'd throw this one to my battlefield 2 comrades. My Gaming system has been down for over 4 weeks, and I need to get my BF fix fast, lol.

I just finished a complete re-build of my computer system and natually, I need to re-install. I'm having problems locating the older patches. I have vanilla and SF, and was looking for any help in which specific patches I need to install and what order works best for the least amount of problems. Can I forgo the 1.21 patches and just go with the full install of 1.22, or must I sift through the web to locate the older patches and download them in order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

make sure to download patch to 1.22 and not patch 1.22 incremental. Install that and you are set

The incremental patch is only if you have a patch before that one. If you have no patch, then install the full version of whatever patch you are intending to install. 1.22 is the latest.

just get the EA downloader and do the patches on there.. easiest way to find em and see what you need.

they have the incrimental patches, or it all in one lump sum.

and it doesnt accept you using ie 7 beta 2 (not that i like ie, firefox all the way)

Well, not in my experience. First I downloaded the patch from Filefront and I got the "Patching Failed"-message. Then I tried EAdownloader, and it worked like a wammy.. And also, the program is very nice and easy to use..

u only need patch 1.22 full, it has all the prevous patches built in.

Brutal for sure. Friggin' replayin' battles in my sleep, and getting atrophy in my mouse hand, lmao. I've got it up and running, but now I'm haveing some program issues. I won't be in the ranked servers until I get it tweaked. The graphics are astounding, and it's totally refreashed my furvor for the game. The system isn''t the best, but it's a hell of a lot better than what I used to have. I guess that 2.5gb of RAM will do that, lol.
