my girlfriend made it out of surgery today with no complications, thank you God. I always worry about that stuff, no matter how major or minor the surgery is, anything can happen. Anyways, just wanted to speak my mind...

oh, was for her kidney. She has always had kidney infections. I'm not familiar with anatomy to a T, but she explained there is a drainage tube from the kidney that is just smaller than normal, and due to that, it causes a back up and she gets the infections. She's had balloon stints put in to correct it, but they didn't work. This time, they were going to go in with a cutting wire and cauterize a particular portion of her kidney and reattach it (?? doesn't make sense to me, but i'm not a Dr.). So anyways, the docs decided to do the stint thing again, so i know she isn't happy about that, i'm just happy there were no complications. She told me that people have died before due to Docs hitting arteries and what not, so it's kinda scary.
