same here. You can, in no way, compare G4S to blackwater. Blackwater is what you would almost call mercenaries, whereas G4S are nothing but security guys for a certain location/object with no power whatsoever.

But thats how private security works here. The govt doesnt want to give companies to much power and they want the police and military to maintain a monopoly when it comes to legal use of violence.
Police and military are also the only ones allowed to carry any form of weapon here. I don think private security is even allowed to have cuffs, they get tie-wraps.
