i tend not bike on the roads, i have 2.8inch tyres and it isnt too easy riding on the roads. i perfer dirt tracks. there is the place about 20miles away from where i live and it has some awesome dirt hill through tree and woodlands, its the best but painfull.

ive gone off jumps before with my friends in england, i borrowed one of their bikes. one guy built a dirt bike park in the woods behind his house. there were some sweet big jumps there! but this one guy, azman, everytime he went with us to go biking wiped out on at least one jump every single time. it was never serious injuries though, so it was funny most of the time. all the grip on his shoes and bike pedals were worn out so he would slip off his bike!

stars#10101, come to thailand for a biking trip. a 300 kilometer ride from one of the most beautiful places in thailand to the one of the most party-crazy places; kanchanaburi to hua hin.

I did it with a bunch of friends last year, 5 days, averaging 60 km a day. We also kayak'ed around another 200 km, on a few tangents but we kept to the path.

First few days are uphill, a bit of downhill here and there, third day is a pain in the ass or wrist (you choose) because of the gravel (yes we wore bike spandex with those little pads around your wee wee) but the fourth it levels out as you bike through the villages. Day five is a more downhill as you reach the beach.

Great fun, you see a bunch of thai stuff on the way (river kwai bridge, death railway, floating market, etc) and when you done you can party your head off at the end.

id love to go to thailand, i love the food. ive visited before when i was about 5 or 6. problem is though im still 14 so if i do go, my dad will have to come with me (he's a bike enthusiast too by the way) which means no partying well this year my dad and i have already paid for the flights and stuff in italy but ill keep this in mind for next year. im definetly keeping this in mind for next year. thailand sounds really nice, sounds like some swweet biking and scenery, although im more into the biking. thanks man, i appreciate it. i havent been on a bike tour in asia yet although i want to. did you choose your own paths or did you have a guide or what? the tours ive been on have been self-guided, the company arranges the hotels and flights and stuff and they send us a map of the area.

i am into biking got several bikes

santa cruz nomad with fox dhx 5.0 air/fox 36 van rc2 fork (all around bike)

santa cruz vpfree with fox dhx 5.0 coil/fox 40 fork  (DH bike)

santa cruz BLT with fox rp3/foxvanilla rlc fork (xc bike)


they all have top notch components like sram XO, xt, chris king, mavic, thompon, race face, truvativ, hadley, hope, avid, wtb, time, easton, shimano, etc...............................



from north california, so lots of trails up here, northstar, lake tahoe, santa cruz mtns and many more.  did some biking germany, and canada for international rides...................

Im getting a mountain bike soon! Because brisbane is just one hill fest, or atleast the place I live around, (Holland Park, Mount Gravatt anyone?)

Anyway, its gunna be sweet because then I can bike to school goto my mates and shit


My friend has a mountain bike, and it glides up hills like you wouldnt believe!

Been bmx biking too, owned myself HARD

well there are several known bikeroutes, you can get maps/guides with different paths but pretty much cover the same distance and destinations, we had a group of 30 and 4 guides who'd lead the way/bring up the rear. was really fun, and it's not expensive to come here from s'pore anyway.
