I agree, it's not worth a watch. If you have nothing else to do, sure, but don't make it the centre of your evening.Kmar wrote:

3/10 - This movie really missed a genre... Not enough scary in it to be a horror movie. Not enough action to be an action movie. Not enough theology to be a religious movie. Not enough adventure to be an adventure movie. I really don't know what it was going for, but there just wasn't much of anything there. I like Cage. I like Perlman. This movie, however, felt like something a Dungeon Master would write around a D&D table...
Revolver - huh/10
Was both completely predictable yet made absolutely no sense what so ever. And talk about random... for no conceivable idea half why in for about 3 minute it decides to be animated, god knows why.

Because Ritchie directed it when he was married to Madonna. That's why.DrunkFace wrote:

Source code 7/10, enjoyable but with glaring plotholes and a forced ending
Tree of Life 9/10, although several people left the theater halfway through, and when it finished someone said out loud "I didnt get it". lol'd.

Morning Glory - 6/10
It was rather meh, the actors didn't have much to work with in all honesty, it's just a poor script, Ford and Mcadams deliver rather uninspired performances. Extra point because I love films set in Manhattan.

You just didn't understand it. I thought it was a good movie. (minus the animated parts) And it was really deep when you go beyond the surface.DrunkFace wrote:

Take the main characters names in Avi, Jake and Zach.
But looks a little closer and you'll see - Avi (Abraham), Jake (Jacob) and Zach (Isaac).
The three pillars of the Kabbalah are represented by the colors black, white and green. Avi is black, Zach is white and Jake has the last name Green.
See? Way too deep for you.
lol, Keith Carradine. let me just write the obituary now...Keith Carradine found dead in the closet of his Kuala Lumpur hotel room after taking a corn-fed, albino guinea pig up his ass, fatally.justice wrote:

"We didn't see these meteor's until they entered our atmosphere. Here is what the hubble telescope picked up with thermal imaging"
I know I'm a astronerd.. but most people should know that the hubble is for peering in to deep space. I just hate it when movies throw cursory science terms out for shiz and jiz.The fact that the story line is hollow, I can forgive that. It's a typical explosive driven action flick. It's those little things that get under my skin. Some films keep advisers on set. You'd think ..
Kerry's awesome simplified and virtually meaningless number score.

A bold concept, but well executed, entertaining and original, or as Denzel would say this was "trippin!"
I mean when you read the plot "A writer discovers a top-secret drug which bestows him with super human abilities." I thought this had to fall flat on it's face, but they pulled it off, having the first person narrative was a good move as well, I like the way the plot unfolded. I mean, there are gaping plot holes, but in this sort of film, you just look past them.

Damn, that's impressive. The last one is the 6th biggest movie of all time in terms of opening weekends, so I'd expect this one to beat that.SEREMAKER wrote:
