It got off the ground but not much farther than that no
Still looked amazing though

inane little opines
these guys are the nation's smartest and they're still using MS Word's 'Chiller' font? come on, save it for halloween posters, at least!
There is an app for that. The android version just came out yesterday.. pretty sure there was already an official iPhone app.Poseidon wrote:
I was worried I wouldn't get to see it... but at work we ended up watching it in the computer room with a bunch of the smaller kids. They might not have known what was going on, but I certainly did. I'd only seen one in person when I saw the launch of the last complete mission of the shuttle Columbia (Feb. 2002). I was in Disney World (which is somewhat far away from Cape Canaveral) but seeing it shoot up into the sky was one of the most amazing sights I think I've ever seen.
I'm glad I got to see it go up. Was worried I wouldn't be able to. I think I was happier and more excited than some of the kids in my group.

I know, but my cell phone was in my friend's car as we're not supposed to have them on us during work. I'm glad the directors at the camp realized what a significant event it was and wanted to show the kids the launch as well. I saw it was 11:15 and we all dashed towards the computer room. Everyone kept asking me all these space related questions, it was pretty funny.Kmar wrote:

Hence my problem with killing it. They should all ready have the next big thing in place. Hell, maybe they do and just haven't told us yet.Kmar wrote:
