The government doesn't like to admit it's wrong, and it's silly at this point. The drug schedule itself is asinine and in need of revision (or removal). To act like it's as dangerous as heroin, or methamphetamine, or pretty much any other schedule 1 drug, is beyond ridiculous. I'd bet that at least 10 livers failed due to painkiller abuse in the U.S. as I typed this. And you can bet a lot of people got paid during those livers' demise (Big Pharma, doctors, etc.). It's sad.
