SRAW/Eryx. For sure, the new noob tube...i hate getting "sniped" by one from the balcony in the palace when im way over by the mec tank spawn or on the roof looking out over the security gate CP. Seems people are getting better and better at using an AT weapon for anti personel. They try and say its because they have nothing for long range kills..but insist on picking that kit for soldier vs soldier combat.

I don't mind it when they jump off the vehicle then blow it up. I hate it when they run into you and kill themselves. You should get 2 points for the kill. They should lose 2 points for suicide, and get no points for killing you by suiciding you.Grifter75 wrote:

I haven't been knifed more than 4 or 5 times but I feel soooo lame for putting myself in that situation.
I have the utmost respect for the AK's though, they're Assault rifles who deserves the capital A.

Well the main reason people dislike the DAO-12 Protecta is because they believe that a semi-auto shotgun with twelve rounds is a whoregun, but it's no different than facing a skilled player who's holding an M4. In most cases, I can take down a DAO-12 gunner with a pistol in close range, it's all about sprinting around him in circles and jumping til he runs out of ammo, and then wait til he pulls out the pistol so that you and he are on the same conditions.Kobrakai wrote:

People say the same thing about the XM1014 in Counter-Strike; they think that if someone can get some lucky headshots with a quick-fire shotgun, they think it's a "noob" gun. I think this is unfair; anyone can get the same kill with an M4 in the same amount of time from the same distance PLUS from long range.
But overall, I'd say I dislike the PKM the most. For all those who used the PKM exclusively in pre-1.12, I salute them; they're honor-gunners. But for the 95% of them who just sprouted up and said, "wow, a one/two shot kill automatic sniper rifle that has a 0.000000000000001 deviation rate in full auto? USE ALL TEH TIME", they need to go drown themselves in hot molten bleach. It's the worst gun in the game; it's overused, it's overpowered, and its too accurate, even from a standing firing position.
Not to mention in real life it's heavy as hell; it's the Russian counterpart of the Browning M2 (the mounted HMMWV / M1A2's machine gun on top).
Imagine taking that off its bipod and walking around with it. Not only would firing full auto fling you back (it's got horrid kick), but it would also break your arms.
The PKM is almost a meter-and-a-half long, and I hate how people turn to shoot at people less than a foot away and shoot them in the legs. It's not possible in real life to turn it at someone so close and fire it at them; you would more than likely hit them in the shin with the barrel, if anything.
That's why I hate the damned thing. It's not realistically designed, it's too overpowered; I tried using it a whole round the exact same way I use the AK-101 and got twice the kills. I've only used this thing ingame about twenty times, and that's not a lot for the time I've played BF2 overall. It's an unfair weapon; it was best in 1.12, where it was realistically inaccurate as hell while standing up.

Probably the grenade. Just because people spam them so much all of a sudden and it creates intense lag due to all the explosions and shell shock, so when I finally do die, I can't tell WHAT I died from, but a safe bet is a grenade. Or the G36C. It really is the most annoying gun there is for me.
As for the PKM, I only found out that I can use it sort of as a sniper rifle about a week ago. I've used the thing since I got my first unlock back in august '05. I was blasting someone at the hotel in mashtuur city from the top of the mosque just because I was bored and lo and behold: I killed him. Well, I tried that a few more times and I ended up getting more kills sitting in that spot than the sniper I was up there with. Though, I never seem to get killed by it, myself, so I love the thing. It sounds mean too.

I don't hate any gun, and I think it's pathetic to blame a gun for your downfall. No wonder the majority of players have a K : D of <1. Ever learnt how to use the m16? I had a blast counter-sniping all those stupid PKM'ers back in 1.2 with AK-101s/G36e/m16s
true that. i have no problems with any guns or vehicles. at least when someone is using those you have a chance at killing them whether they be flying a chopper, hiding in a tank, or using the ak or pkm. but claymores. theres nothing you can do except have some one bite the bullet for the team.Dr.Battlefield wrote:

Has to be the L85A1/G36E that kills me the most. Obviously though, i was using the L85A1 the other day and it's a headshot machine. The G36E can rip through anyone, armor or not. Man i wish the Assault kit had weapons like that, G3 does the job though. What's with all the Kraut guns anyway? There all so good in the game...
Most annoying? Artillery and Claymores. Moreso Artillery as it really kills off what teamplay there is in this game.

Yeah, it's becuase of the stupid deviation crap. If they just made the guns shoot where you pointed them and just increased the recoil alot it would be better. Perhaps the spread increased sligtly at extreme ranges. But it's stupid as it is, and yes. Again, the medic unlocks seem to defy this rule.hate the ak-101 ....
