e: what's fucking stupid is that the equipment they're complaining about (the heater) has been around since last year. they've just now started to find it annoying, presumably because they built an outside deck and now they can actually hear it. morons.

Oh yeah and they're worried about "risk of fire" hahahaha. I'm pretty sure the people who install these things have to have it inspected by the state to make sure it's compliant with code. Two more weeks and these people can bitch to the new occupants of this house.

We'll probably tell them we're sorry about the noise but that our equipment was here first and if they want to pay for some sort of shed that's soundproof they are more than welcome to...

i swear I'm never gonna live in a neighborhood like this. Either the city or big, big houses on big plots of land in the far-flung suburbs.

gs, no you don't... they're expensive as fuck to maintain and your neighbors will bitch about the noise. but only after living next to it for three years.
