Some fat is good for you, even saturated fat. I try to avoid dairy as I seem to have some intolerance to it, and there are various theories which suggest adults shouldn't drink milk at all. I can't taste the difference between cow an soy milk, and barely have any of either.11 Bravo wrote:
I am posting this in DST because I want someone to prove it wrong. I have started drinking coconut milk because I believe in the health benefits of it, especially compared to regular milk. The concern of coconut milk in the past was the saturated fat. But, according to most things I read, that fat is actually good for you. That seems odd to me but what do I know. Before I make it a staple in my diet I am curious if anyone can shed some light on it.

Butter is fine though.
Everything in moderation, and if you lead an active life it doesn't matter too much if you consume a certain amount of fat.
eg My cat had a bowl of cream or evaporated milk and a whipped egg every day and made it to 17 without gaining an ounce of fat so there.
