i just spent like 5 minutes staring at my pepper plant and admiring it lol. has a bunch of like 4 inch cayennes that aren't quite red and mature yet, tried one and it tasted too "chlorophyllish" and green.
my tomato plants are massive and there's a bunch of green ones on them. hopefully they mature and make it through this heat fine.

i just looked those up cause that would be a nice spice to have on hand but it says they take like 2 years to produce actual peppers and can't handle frosts, etc.
i grew a few basil plants earlier this season and harvested them but i dried it badly and it got mold lolz.
also grew a few virginia gold tobacco plants earlier for shits and giggles (first month is the hardest, they stay super small then finally take off) that were like a foot tall but i killed them by accident.
my climate and soil is a bit tricky but you can pull off a sweet garden if you prepare right, had like 100 zucchinis last year and passed them out to friends and stuff.
someone should start a garden or plant thread lol.
