Fuck, I've got all my bills paid and US trip all booked and partially paid for and got back paid from work and extra cash for some extra hours so I have all this money and I really want to spend it but I don't know what on... I've made quite a few eBay purchases though
Save it. Vegas is an expensive town. How much did you have budgeted for whilst you're in Vegas?
I've got close to a couple grand saved and I should get approx another $3k back in my tax return. I plan to head over with my credit card at $0.00 (under $1k to go) so I should be sweet.
Just bear in mind that if you're going to clubs you'll need a couple of hundred dollars per night. I can't remember if you're doing pools, but with cover you'll need at least $100 if you just want to chill and have a few beers.

turning off the notifications is easy. getting the bots and random spam accounts to leave you alone... not so much, unless you protect your tweets and make people request to be able to follow you (which is another manual-approve headache in and of itself).

No idea, but I've made one tweet ever and I have like 20 spam accounts following me. But they don't bother me so I guess it doesn't really bother me.

wider circulation, i guess. they often auto-follow and then will retweet or reply to whatever it is that you say of relevance to their API/scanning bots... it's just a way of trying to bump up your own exposure and 'out there' factor. there's a lot of human accounts that just follow everyone, too, like 100,000+ people... because the idea is that if even 5% of the people you follow come to check out your own twitter feed... well that's at least something, right?

these people are all web2.0 entrepreneurs and 'new media' specialists and 'public relations marketing gurus' or whatever the fuck they call themselves nowadays. if it pays their bills and puts food on their table... fair enough. not for me, though.

mcdonalds is pretty shit though, better off making your own fresh egg and sausage mcmuffin at your house.

i wish they had the egg and sausage mcmuffins for $1.50 though, or just get the 2 for $3.50 deal i guess.

Oh, I read your comment as 'if I follow enough people, maybe people will actually bother to listen to what I have to say in return'.
