it did kinda become a chore after a while tbf. after it happened the third time i kinda said enough was enough... at least until the next time i suddenly feel this compulsion to play again

it's a bunch of people letting their timed-repeat lasers hit a non-destructible building as a form of 'protest'. this sounds awesome in principle and as a mass-community event, until you realize that it's just 1000 mouth-breathers all sat in their chairs doing absolutely nothing except idling an auto-attack and typing furiously into fleet/corporate/local chatboxes. like most things with eve, it's great to read about - the drama makes great eavesdropping - but the gameplay itself is pretty much comatose.

I love the deadspace tracks. It's a shame that they sound like they were mastered through FM radio.

Yeah, it kinda reminds me of Red Alert 1 & 2, Frank Klepacki's work.. wonder if he did the deadspace tracks as well. Wouldn't surprise me.
