i had a norwegian lesbian at uni... was amazing. but i remember saying before because bf2s couldn't get their heads around the fact that a career-lesbian could enjoy some man-meat from time to time... norwegians are crazy.

no we can wrap our head around it. but she wouldn't be a lesbian if she liked man meat from time to time.
it's pretty simple.
she's interested in relationships with women. she has girlfriends. she is, by and large, attracted to females and does not look at guys as anything other than friends. she is categorically, by psychology and sexuality, a lesbian. the only difference is that she sometimes prefers an 'organic' dildo or strap-on, if you catch my drift.
if you think that disqualifies her entire sexuality then i guess by the same logic, any guy that has ever kissed a male friend on the cheek whilst drunk at a party is now absolutely homosexual, having denounced his heterosexual mentality.

Not kissing a guy on the cheek, but yeah if the same guy had sucked a dick or fucked a dude then yes that would make him bisexual.
If you have relationships with women, etc. but still like the cock, then how can anyone argue that that isn't bi? Bi doesn't mean an exact 50/50 split of equal appreciation for each sex, it means you like being in releationships with/fucking both guys and girls.

i don't really 'buy' bisexuality. technically everyone's a little bisexual, it's just a matter of degrees. where you draw the line is pretty arbitrary, really - sexual acts don't really correspond to like a factual 'scale' of intensity. if a chick is getting railed by a dildo 4 times a night, and if she fancies women exclusively and only has relationships with women, then she's a lesbian. a guy's dick is little other to her than a better-feeling dildo. i don't think it compromises her sexuality. and the common and lazy use of 'bisexual' annoys me. bisexuals are people that will cohabit and easily look for/accept a serious long-term relationship with either sex. if you're a lesbian that's tired of improvising a female-cock and just drunkenly/druggedly go for the real thing every now and then, i don't think that radically alters your category. bisexuality is just some bullshit buzzword-construct for virgin marxist gender studies nerds to fuss over and write dissertations on.

I dunno, sexuality used to be different than we view it today AFAIK.
I think there's more to (if you're a girl) fucking/getting fucked by a guy than it just being "a better-feeling dildo". I don't claim to have extensive knowledge on what a guy presents to a woman's mind while in a sexual situation with her, but I'm sure they get some form of feeling of being 'taken' by a man, which would probably add a lot to the experience.Uzique wrote:

Unless you're saying that this woman didn't enjoy you being there at all while fucking her in the slightest and just wanted "A better-feeling dildo", I wouldn't be too proud about what happened.
sometimes sex is just lust. it's an animal instinct. especially when drugs lower the social inhibitions and remove ethics and cultural norms from the equation. i'm firmly of the opinion - as are most psychologists and cognitive scientists now - that gender and sexuality is constructed. and i don't think 'bisexuality' means anything, as a signification; it's an empty term. yes, in our modern era (as jsnipy has pointed out), everything is now relativistic instead of absolute. the burly brando heterosexual male and the buxom vixen female are dying archetypes. nowadays everyone's a little more in the middle because it's a little more normalised and, hell, even encouraged by culture and society (and consumer economics, too). bisexuality is a myth. consciously and psychologically you're attracted to and find all of the instinctual bonuses of a monogamous 'relationship' in one other sex - and that's your sexuality. if people like to fuck around and experiment with other sexes on random occasions with no particular thought or conscious urge behind it, that's only because society is more accepting (and even encouraging) of such a behaviourism. it's not because they're this tricky and muddled person that just can't decide ooooh eeenie meenie miiinie moooo.

Going to try and get video again tonight. Adjusted the lighting a bit and all should be good. Glad I've solved one of my girl problems...lol..
i've never had the urge to film myself getting jiggy wit' it. that's some serious narcissistic shit right there.

Not as much as putting your picture on a sex doll and nailing it while watching a video of yourself.

I don't personally believe that being straight, gay or bi is a choice, though. I can't fathom the idea of getting any form of pleasure from a guy, no matter what my situation. I'm sure a lot of people agree. I do believe that women seem more likely to be interested in both sexes, but for the thought of getting pleasure from the opposite sex to your preference to even be in someone's mind, even if it is just a one-off thing, I would say that that person has bi-tendancies or is bisexual. It can't just be a global thing with everyone, because a lot of people just don't like the idea.
But, in saying that, if you are right and everyone does think the same, the amount of walls blocking those thoughts from entering purely straight or purely gay people's minds basically create sexuality, thus you would be correct in that it is constructed - and I can see that. I just don't personally believe that's how it is, or maybe I just don't want to. Who knows.
Very interesting discussion, though.

I feel like if I filmed myself having sex I'd feel really awkward the next time I had sex knowing what it looks like. Unless I look really awesome at it, in which case I'd feel proud.
don't confuse 'constructed' with 'choice' - i'm not talking about conscious decisions, here. gender and sexual identity is complex and i can't pretend to understand it - the experts can't really, either - but what i'm saying is that it's all construction. 'bisexuality' is meaningless; it's just a term cooked up to designate something that has been invalidated. if everything is now relative and everyone's a little bit queer, then what the fuck is bisexuality? the status of everyone at some point in their lives? the term no longer means anything, therefore i'm going to classify a girl that by all real accounts is only interested in girls (for relationships, more than just the sex-factor) as a 'lesbian'.FFLink wrote:

tell that to bateman
Yeah that was my logic as well.
I think sexuality sort of follows a spectrum. On the one hand you have the people who'd have violent reactions to being kissed by a member of the same sex, on the other hand you have people who'd probably freak out at the thought of heterosexual intercourse. Two extremes, and everyone else lies somewhere else along those lines.
you think people really have a natural, physical repulsion to the opposite sexuality? it's all acquired and trained. conditioned. and if we're all therefore on a more intermediate spectrum - what the fuck is bisexuality? we're all bisexual. i think sexuality nowadays is a label to designate a lifestyle decision; more of an identity than a description of an attraction. she's a lesbian because she lives with a girlfriend, hangs out with lesbians, does dyke-ass things and prefers to keep a woman as a soul-mate and pussy partner. i think that's about as conclusive you can get if everyone nowadays is admitted to being on some relative 'spectrum'.
