I already ordered my new computer so I can sit and look at it until October.
No but really, how much could I realistically expect to save building my own compared to buying another Dell.
I'm just looking for a ballpark figure in percentage terms to determine if its worth looking into it.

well, I found my next rig.

Why a 1336 build? Sandy bridge (1155) is the same price or cheaper and has better performance.
Also, why the WD Green? I definitely wouldn't use a 5400RPM HDD for OS, grab a WD Black or a Samsung F3.
Unless this is some deal you are getting second hand for cheap or something.
idunno, was just a quick throw-together. havent really looked into it much.

Compared with this? $1,499

There are some bits I would upgrade.
