Lowing, I think the issue is not that she is a creationist alone. The issue is that she lacks critical thinking skills. To say something like "humans and dinosaurs coexisted" or to even insinuate such a thing--when there is zero evidence to support such a statement and loads of evidence to contradict it--should give one pause when considering her thought processes in general.

That is not to say that Obama is a great alternative, based on his proven track record in office. Tbh, if it were between her and Obama, I'd be pulling hard for a third party candidate...any third party candidate.

I think she would be an absolute disaster in foreign relations and that has nothing whatsoever to do with her belief (and coincidentally, me being a European 'foreign relations' is probably the most important issue, I care little for your domestic policies). I've already stated earlier that if she were some sort of genius in debate and policy yet was a creationist I may just have to look over that, it's not one issue. I also stated that I don't see creationism as simply a belief because it's completely conflicting with the findings of many sciences. I said this already.

I was not the one who drew the comparison with Obama and Palin, I believe you wanted to do so. You wanted arguments on what makes your current POTUS better than Palin, they were given. You don't agree. Fair enough. During the elections in the US I, like everyone else, was impressed by Obama in debate, interviews and speeches. Later on in the race I got my doubts as he was repeating the same message every time again and again with little substance. During his time as a president he hasn't really done all that much. Obama has faults, I have admitted this time and time again as well.

Stop trying to paint me as an 'Obama lover' because I have repeated continually that he hasn't impressed throughout his presidency. I don't see him as being 'better than anyone' either, I have said this again and again as well - it was solely a comparison with Palin. A debate that you sparked. I can't help it if you get pissy about me stating that Obama is definitely a better choice than Palin end of. Whether you feel he's a 'groomed puppet' or not.

lol, you claim Palin is a retard, my argument has always been, compared to who exactly? Because our govt. is full of them and to single one out above all of the shit in Washington, and then use creationism as the main reason, when you have REAL corruption, cover ups, ineptness, felons, cheaters, scandals, plaguing our govt. is what I challenge. She quits her elected position, invites TV cameras in her home, joins fox news, stars in her own reality show, puts out a book, tours the nation in a giant bus with her name plastered across the constituttion. .. and she wonders why the media won't leave her alone?

She's trying to supplant her ignorance with sympathy. The fact that people actually buy this victim of the "lame stream" media act is amazing to me.

I didn't claim Palin is a 'retard', that's something others were saying. I called her ignorant and an idiot. That's by judging the things she says and does, not by comparing her to someone else. I don't have someone set as a benchmark for whether or not someone's an idiot.

I know what you are saying, and I understand it. My point has never been Palin isn't a retard, my point has always been the absurdity of singling her out as the greatest threat because of her belief in creationism and what MIGHT come to pass because of it, considering all of the sludge that surrounds us in Washington today that seemingly is overlooked by those that have hard on for Palin bashing. It is just like the Bush bashing days, and that was some ridiculously funny shit. Especially since Obama is the mirror image of Bush policy and all is quiet on that front.

not your personal hypotheticals, generally speaking, as in what end of the world catastrophe would come about because she thinks men and dinosaurs co-existed.
