The Company Men - 7/10

Follows the lives of 3 big time execs who suffer after their company downsizes. An interesting account, and a realistic insight into the recession, but the film in truth doesn't really go anywhere, a god watch though.

Middle Men - 7/10

The Social Network, but the porno version. A serious, yet at times very funny drama/thriller. They didn't have much of a cast to work with, but it's well made and entertaining, in truth I would have rated it higher but for the poor ending.

THe third is already picked up, from what I've heard.. I already peg it as Zacks charaters going to get married. Probably be the same format.

Green Lantern 4.5 out of 10...

Ehh just an other generic story. Nothing to really write home about.

Stupid concept, and poorly constructed film, a terrible combination. Easily the worst part I've seen Matt Damon in, this was an awful film.

Has anyone seen this movie? If so how was it? It's holding a solid 8 at imdb and 85 at metacritic for what's worth. I want to see it in a theater but that only ones running it are deep in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Going through the quadrilogy as it seems it's one of those sets that should be watched, thought it was much better than the first one, was actually pretty gripped towards the end and got right into it.

X-men First Class - 7/10
But then again I really liked Wolverine as well..

Schindlers List - 9/10
Brilliant film, some scenes very similar to 'the pianist' near the beginning, which I saw a few weeks ago, but then takes you in completely. Was just a bit too long to keep me engaged the whole time, had to have a break half way through

it's one of those boring and banal 'serious' films that you're supposed to like by virtue of nothing thrilling or exciting happening, whatsoever.

critics are divided as to whether it's a successful example of said-genre or a hollywood tack-on.

it won the palme d'or so it must be pretty good, by filmie standards.

i'm going to watch it asap.

problem with comedy movies is that they try to overdo it. i lost interest in comedy movies a long time ago. its either action or a cartoon for me in the movies

Different, creative, and smart. Greatest movie eva mindfuck zomg? No.

I remember when the movie came out people were posting graphs to explain the continuity of the movie and other things and were going on about much of a mindfuck the movie was supposed to be. I went in thinking I would be amazed by it but I'm kinda disappointed. The plot wasn't difficult to follow and was kinda contrived at points. Don't get me wrong it was very entertaining and a great movie but a little bit overrated.

Trailer 2. Still makes use of random Voldemort howling. Animated armor reminds me of Bedknobs & Broomsticks (among other things).

Seen them all at the theater, so I might as well see the last one there, too.
