Goin' to Opple Topple June 17th to 19th. It's some festival out in bumblefuck PA with a bunch of bands no one's ever heard of but my buddies' band is headlining. We're bringing a smoker, several pounds of dead animals, and a Hunter S. Thompson-worthy stash. It's gonna be a debaucherous occasion.

Went to go see Explosions In The Sky a couple of weeks back.... holy shit.
Live performance was absolutely stunning, no mp3 or any other format can possibly come close. Best concert I've ever been to, hands down.

honestly what is the appeal of that sort of show? other than as a spectacle, in the same way a north korean gymnastics show is entertaining...
