BF2S Forums Gameplay issues

Ok this has been a problem for a while and i havent been able to figure it out as of yet so im hoping someone else might know something about it. When I play BF2 for like 15-30mins my game freezes for almost a min or two than starts acting normaly for about 5secs and than disconnects me. Ive opened the ports on my firewall and that didnt help at all. Im running BF2 under windows xp pro, with a A8N-sli mobo, amd 64 3200+ processor, GF6800, and 1gig DDR ram. I dont think its a hardware issue but at this point im open to any suggestions. Thank you for your help in this, its probably something stupid and simple that im overlooking.
