So, you don't give a fuck about someone hitting rock bottom and ending their life, but you support someone creating the same disturbance for another cause you can actually understand.
That confirms everything.
That confirms everything.
no someone that really wants to commit suicide isn't looking for an audience to stop them. Someone that is attention starved is. Call your mommy or daddy if you need a hug, but don't interfere with the lives in an entire city to get it.Cybargs wrote:
I know it was not suicide, but still a bridge was held up. So its ok for him to hold up a bridge for his kids but if someone committed suicide theyre selfish? lol epic logic.lowing wrote:
This was not a suicide, this was not about "him". I would still be annoyed, but he was trying to draw attention to the plight of kids...Something I that I could understand and even support.Cybargs wrote:
I posted an article earlier where a serving Australian Army Commando "held Sydney harbour bridge hostage" when he climbed the bridged and laid out signs "Help my kids" etc. I was there that day and was late for an exam. Bridge was shut down by police coz they were afraid that one of the signs might been blown down and cause a traffic accident.

Ohhhhhhh so we are not talking about people that want to kill themselves. We are talking about people who are attention starved and will do anything to get attention...Sorry, plenty of people that get paid to care. In fact Jaekus, aren't you one of those professionals that get paid to pretend you give a shit? Well, at least your getting paid for having your life tied up while someone else sorts out their problems, right?Jaekus wrote:

Mental illness?
Many reasons, pretty obvious ones. Ones you can't understand.

Nope, what matters is, there are people that think it is ok to grind a city to a halt because they need a hug. Go see Jaekus, he is paid to care and to give out hugs.Dilbert_X wrote:

If you wanna discuss the topic, that would be great. Then discuss it, and stop making this about me, or my family.Jaekus wrote:

Just curious, when your kids come up and ask why you spend a lot of time on the computer, do you be honest and tell them "well, I'm disagreeing with all these people I do no not know on the internet, about things I don't really know, and for hours on end. So I'm sorry I can't spend time with you because this is a lot more important"
?
and I am out of town on business. and my kids (teenagers), are probably still sleeping, but rest assured, when they skype me I will be dumping you.Jaekus wrote:
