don't really have much to say about it, afterwards. it delivers exactly as you expect, eloquently, and there are no stutters in the film itself. i can't say i was particularly "wowed" by any of it, and the necessarily 'climax' at the end didn't, well... feel all that climactic, to me at least. of course the acting was very good, but then again i don't see any special merit in getting helena bonham carter, the daughter of aristocracy, being hired to play... aristocracy. the movie was solid, but not stellar.
That's pretty much what I thought about it
I don't think it deserved the best picture oscar, that should have gone to black swan.
