okay.
i have a text rendering thing that finray hooked me up with ages ago that renders text in the same way that OSX does (i.e. nicer).
But then you'd have to use SafariUzique wrote:
i'd highly recommend it, too, but i recommend just getting a mac with OSX really because the shit doesn't WORK in ff4 without giving you a headache

Yea last i checked Safari had some solid speed. http://clients.futuremark.com/peacekeeper/index.actionUzique wrote:
you can use any browser you want on mac osx you dumb-shit.
not that you'd need to considering how fucking blisteringly fast safari is with the 64-bit total os integration into snow leopard +

... than firefox 3, yeah, but still slower than chrome and opera. horribly so.burnzz wrote:

no thx, i'll stick with chrome for now.
probably. the difference won't really be visible on any modern pc i guess. what i've been testing it on was your average (probably, bellow average) office pc-es we use at work - the difference is immediately obvious.tazz. wrote:

same here, updating it via wsus is a nice feature. we only install different shit here if ie gives compatibility issues with a site that's really needed.burnzz wrote:
At work, the only browser we will support is IE 8. even though 9 comes with the first round of updates on a clean install.
On browser speed tests FF fares considerably slower than Opera and Chrome. FF4 wasn't a step forward for Mozilla, but rather just a new name for the same browser with the same problems.tazz. wrote:
