When I first started downloading Splinter Cell Conviction, my mind was brought to a happier time when I could play games without anger or fear over whether or not they worked, as straight out of the box I could enjoy the lush worlds they provided me with. (DISCLAIMER: Sometimes I would have to put a Q-Tip into the cartridge but that mostly only happened for used games)
Anyways fast forward to 4 hours later when the game finished downloading. I was pretty psyched because tom clancy is my favorite author and I had just finished saving up my allowance for the latest Splinter Cell extravaganza. I launched the game, sat through the mandatory 30 second intro sequence where it reminded me to take out my anger on Ubisoft and that online interactions cannot be rated by the ESRB. immediately after the intro I was prompted with a "Press any key to begin" screen and I joyfully leapt to do just that, however before my plump fingers could reach the keys, an interesting message arrived.
[DISCLAIMER: GRAPHIC IMAGE AHEAD, UNSPOILER WITH EXTREME CAUTION. KEEP ALL CHILDREN BACK 30 FT OR MORE]
Spoiler (highlight to read):
WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK UBISOFT ARE YOU ON HEROIN?
Moral of the story is never buy ubisoft games.
