yep, I learned a few tricks for public speaking but otherwise it was a joke and an easy A. I understand why we have to take it, sorta, but it's really a joke.

e: I also think we had a very easy teacher, since the normal grade distribution for that course (across all semesters and instructors) is about 49% As and 49% Bs. Still not as close to a normal distribution as hard classes, but it's a sight more normal than my class.

i think it's a joke that you have to take things like that at college-level. communication and public speaking? really?

and of course it's an easy-teacher/class... it doesn't make sense for basic skills shit like that to be particularly gruelling. it's stupid.

what's the thing where you get college credits for menial tasks, too? i've been looking at internships lately and notice a lot of the us-based ones offer 'college credit' - as if being able to sort paper and do mindless data-entry for 8 hours a week is somehow contributing towards one's 'education'...

Well for some majors here, your last semester is just doing an internship. You get it approved by the college and those are your credits right there. But it's generally a bit more engaging than data-entry for 8 hours a week, it's more like a full-time job.

@Pos I think he failed to submit an assignment and also just did poorly on a lot of them.
