So after a chocolate milk spill and after insufficient cleaning of the incident, a nice little moldy patch grew on the carpet where it spilled complete with mushroom looking white things that are really tiny. Unfortunately it's a stupid full floor carpet and not a rug you throw down. So no chance of throwing it away. I've read many opinions online and I wanted to ask people here what they thought the best course of action would be.
I've heard, rub with vinegar, soap & water, use water and oxi action, etc. I also read that the crap is really dangerous and not to get near it with clothing you don't intend on throwing away or thoroughly washing afterward. So I don't want to try anything that won't work and be forced to do it again. It's right next to a bed too so...I want it gone ASAP.
You guys are my only hope without spending tons of money on somebody to clean the carpet. Thanks for advice.

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
