This news report is awful. They've pulled out all the stops to sell a misleading sensationalist story. They've got a poor orphan girl as a victim, they most likely contacted Valve a minute before they went to air so they could play the "we contacted the company, they didn't respond" card and create a villain. There's no reason Valve wouldn't have responded because there is no story here, the next 20 second of gameplay could have proven that, but by creating a scenario where Valve couldn't respond they've made them look like they're guilty of something. Unfortunately this isn't slander, it's just manipulative and misleading journalism.
