I was confused by the name at first, but this is definitely something i've grown to love.

Major Points:
- It's browser based.
- Allows you to send/recieve SMS
- Allows you to browse gallery/file system and download the files.
- Ofcourse it's password protected.

More on topic, does this work well, from the review on the site it look like its a little bit buggy, I'd love to be able to reply to sms via the computer when at home, if it work great, that would be awesome...Ive got a Samsung Galaxy S btw.

Is it true live desktop? Can you navigate the phone with a mouse as if it were your finger? I used to have that on a windows mobile phone. Ive been waiting for a similiar app for androind. That'd be cool. I use google voice for sms, and share my files over my network. So those other features aren't particulary appealing to me. I'll prolly still try it though. I try everything.  lol

I tried to install gb on my phone today (for netflix). I got some usigned file error when I tried . The official update is supposed to be released ota soon. I'm rooted so I don't think ill get it. I wonder if I'll get the update if I unroot temporarily. Hmmph. Doubt it.

That's pretty cool. Only problem is that it is not nearly as responsive as the program i used to use. Still, right track though.

Anyone know what 4glte phone to get with verizon? I've been looking at the Thunderbolt. The Charge is nice but its a little slower than than the Thunderbolt. I've heard around that there's two more phones coming out. Any info?

I don't like the Bionic because of 0.3MP camera on the front but the Dual Core is nice. I just read that the LG Revolution only has a 5.0MP camera

So the bionic has been scrapped?

I can only speak on the bionic, which I've used. Very nice phone, fast.. as you might expect.

Like in photography, don't get caught up in the megapixel game. These phone cameras have very small sensors in them in the first place. Jamming too many mp on them can actually be a detriment to quality. Granted, .3 is very little.. but also keep in mind you are streaming video. You aren't going to want a very high mp if you are not on wifi.

If you're planning on customizing your phone in depth check around and make sure the bootloader isn't encrypted. My Droid X (which is also Motorola) is encrypted . So it limits your options.

Rooting lets you have full control. You could think of it as an admin account for windows. No rooting = guest, rooting = admin. So yeah lets you instal apps that only root users can use, free wifi tether, skinning the phone through Roms. changing how it feels.

As of now i havent rooted mine...the second i feel like i guest on my own phone, then all hell will break loose!

Also @ Tazz: The Remote Desktop has some issues, but in general, it work good, thanks for letting us know about it!

For a Hero, considering it's limited hardware, you wouldn't really benefit much from rooting.
