I've been going there since i was too young to remember. My dad's side of the family is from Denver (it was a huge Italian migrant area in the early 1900's). Really only in Boulder and maybe Colorado Springs do you find the hippies. Denver is now like gentrified Brooklyn, and the people dress as if they just climbed out of a cryogenic chamber and saw Portlandia for the first time after a lifetime of wearing flannel and denim. Crazy how much Denver has changed in the last 20 years.
