its actually an okay subject, very operational driven as you prob could imagine. But think bigger its principally the reason why Walmart and Tesco are where they are today, their ability to restock based on understanding demand to the n degree/real time as opposed to just having the cheapest prices.

it's one of my MBA electives too.

I work in supply chain management. It's actually somewhat challenging. There's plenty applications across the business realm. It's fucking boring though. And when most of your vendors are Chinese/Taiwanese, it means staying at work late and responding to 3 day old posts
