i don't have exams because i opted to write 30,000 words in a month instead of sitting in a hall for 5 hours. i preferred 3x dissertations over 3x exam sittings. i'm fine with exams but 75% of my third-year either boiled down to a month of hardcore essaying or a week of (potential) hell. i took the latter. totally finished now whilst all the rest of my friends battle with exam season stress. lovely. i actually got into the habit of enjoying being in the library at 4am... roll on postgrad.

on Monday I wanted to pay off the rest, and online the balance for my card was something like $660 so I transferred $660
then on Wednesday I went to buy a slice of pizza and it declined my debit card, and I realized shit had somehow hit the fan
I didn't realize that the $200 transfer had not posted, and as such it still showed the original balance online (fucking stupid banks). So I ended up transferring more money than necessary, which put my account in the negatives. I fixed it, although it'll take a couple days for the extra money to go back to my checking account.

Get to work! For some reason, I imagine your finals are a lot more difficult than ours, though. Perhaps it's because your education system doesn't cater as much to the "everybody wins" 'tude. For instance, I've only had 1 cumulative final (the rest are just like normal exams) and that one got the shit curved out of it because it's physics and our professors blow. As such, the averages are generally around 55%. Somehow I got an A last semester with a 79.6% total points.Sturgeon wrote:
