So Obama ordered a raid instead of a drone strike because he wanted proof, for the American public, that they killed Osama but now refuses to release the pictures of the body or the raid video. Uh huh.
I can understand the raid video not getting released, you know sensitive military stuff and all, but we should be allowed to see Osama's headshot.
As for the let's not upset Muslims-

We live in a society that has a history of displaying the bodies of our enemies. We live in a society that that values freedom of speech and openness. We live in a society where random acts of violence doesn't dictate our lives. We shouldn't not release the photos of our dead enemy because it offends third worlders half way across the globe, regardless of the potential backlash.
Also
Osama's followers (in ideology or in person) are still there. What do you think they'll do if you start prancing about with pictures of his dead body?
Try to kill Americans like they have been doing for 10+ years now?
