I had high hopes for this, a good IMDB rating and some even calling it a classic. But what a load of rubbish, a truly bizarre story to begin with, then cheap twists which make no sense, then some predictable twists,plot holes everywhere....pretty awful.

i enjoyed it, mostly for the fact that i saw it in ultra avx (much bigger screen and better speakers than imax with big rocker chairs). seemed like a typical revenge story, but the girl did her part really well for a kid.

Shutter Island - 9/10
Really good, had me gripped all the way through. Probably a good thing I hadn't read the book, some good twists in there that I didn't see coming.
I'm still undecided about the ending though, and having read the hundred of arguments on the net for both sides of the the possible conclusions, they are both pretty convincing. But I'm thinking more now that

Teddy was in fact real and sane, rather than he really is Andrew
You could really give good arguments for both conclusions, it's a great story.
