The record of the largest amount of posts in an EE chats thread was in April Chats of 2010, Only May chats followed a close second. The record has never been broken, partially because of threads like AU chats and such which steal posts from EE. Really these threads serve no purpose in these threads as we already have EE chats anyway, not to mention the national chat threads pretty much have everyone from EE chats posting in such threads even though they aren't of that nationality.
I originally was for them, but I have changed my mind about them over the months and feel they should be closed and just have EE chats.
