set your browser not to load images unless you click.

I'm pretty sure there's a firefox extension for that

That's annoying. More annoying than the lame political cartoons.

Obama: "U.S. Can Absorb a Terror Attack"

Anyone find that comment abhorrent that a sitting President would say that?

EPA Gets in Starters Block

“The conclusion of the engineering analysis of the vehicles studied is that the adoption and use of E15 should not adversely affect properly engineered vehicles nor should it cause them to perform in a sub-optimal manner when compared to their performance using E10 blends.”

With that statement from research firm Ricardo, Inc the EPA has been given the green light to force gasoline blends to be at least 15% ethanol from the current limit of 10%.  I think the fix was in all along and this could begin the real move by the EPA and its czar to exert power over the economy through ecology.   I think Cap & Trade is still the ultimate goal of the administration, although a massive turnover in Congress could nip the EPA.  Right now, however, the goal is to get the ball rolling and it begins with gasoline.  Previously efforts to shift gas blends to E15 were halted because it was though not to work with older model cars, trucks and vans.  Well, those assumptions were wrong...according to Ricardo.

The fuel will not harm vehicles made from 1994 to 2000 still in use.  Considering the average car/truck is more than 10 years old and 62.8 million were made from 1994 to 2000.  This is a real expensive misadventure.   Just so you know ethanol added to fossil fuels is solvent that dissolves plastics, fiberglass and rubber. it absorbs water and decreases MPH for vehicles by 4% although it can decrease some mph by 20%.

This is what happens when an astroturfed protest fails.

Andrew Brietbart owns protesters.  They end up leaving after a colorful display of ignorance and hate.  Brought to you proudly by the DNC.

9/11 Was essentially a trivial event, 50 times that many die from medical negligence in the US every year.
Nothing to see here, no need for another trillion dollar war.

Trying too hard. Lowing is gone, you'll need a new schtick.

Thats already been shown to be something unrelated.

Obama didn't sit back and let terrorists attack, start two wars or preside over the bigggest financial meltdown in living memory.

Why don't you give it a rest?

Yes, I think they are.  How long until we literally have 'cattle class' airline tickets with wedged-in standing room?
