Exactly. Teaching kids outside of school shouldn't be a problem though, given your kid is curious and wants to learn - you can give them a major headstart as well by simply paying attention to them during kindergarten.

Well, someone thought so before and actually did it with his son, I believe the kid was severely depressed for the rest of his life though - don't remember who it was, some philosopher I reckon. But I'm not sure about that - can you teach ingenuity & originality? As I feel those are the best qualities people can have. Some kids really do learn quicker than others, too.

Well yes but I believe having many different teachers is important as you'll have many different opinions on your work. Not to mention that you can't do group assignments when you're homeschooled, you're missing out on some vital social interaction.
