And well, time is relative. If we can't exceed lightspeed we sure as hell can extend our lives to make the travel time relatively insignificant.

Well yes, quite. But again this is only using known techniques. How much do we actually know? Our idea of space and the science behind it had been revolutionised only a century ago. We just started doing this stuff.currently^this.menzo wrote:
the star that is closest to use is like light year away (not sure) but most of the stars are between 100 and 10000 light years. and that is only in our galaxy. so communications will take 200 or 20000 years. and communication between galaxies are 1000x or even 1000.000x longer
As far as we know, the speed of light is the limit so far, even if we can exceed this(not impossible) it's going to take vast amounts of time to even travel our galaxy, let alone others.

wait- that's still theoretical.
wasn't the china one also? ppl were saying it was an american rocket that had 3 stages and the rocket hit the atmosphere with perfect conditions, thus giving it that effect. and the flare it did was just the rocket going into stage 2.Adams_BJ wrote:

I literally thought the same thing when I first heard it. And that's when I stopped taking it seriously.DonFck wrote:

well maybe they aren't traveling but can send something that imprints pictures onto our land? Heck I don't know but that would be cool if they had that tech. I mean we can send out radio signals that they receive, is it hard to believe they can send out something more advanced that pressed down on wheat?fo0k wrote:
If I could travel between solar systems to find life I would also tread down shapes in their grass when they were not looking.
they speak english too now?-Sh1fty- wrote:
If they had the technology to crush our wheat in binary code messages I'm sure they wouldn't print a stupid face and code. They could've just written what they wanted to tell us in plain English against the wheat.
Pretty intelligent hoax tbh.
Antimass deflectors should solve the problems for the ships.Shocking wrote:
Plenty of theoretical possibilities to circumvent light speed, I don't think that's going to be a deal breaker at all. Problem is going to be not hitting ANY space debris or asteroid when going at such insane speeds
I know pisses me off, honestly I believe they will be completely unexpected and completely different if they exist and their ships not so fricken round and retarded looking. Those "disks" and such I believe to have made by us, Area 51 after all, is an Airforce base and we could be testing prototype aircraft as well. People have confused the B2 bomber as an alien aircraft before.Kampframmer wrote:
All this talk about god, just because of a few UFO hoax videos.
We have such a narrow vision when it comes to aliens. they could be anything, ranging from microbes to a being that we wouldnt even consider to be able to exist.
Why does everyone think they fly in shiny discs with lots of lights?
