Im still uneasy that it looks like they've adopted crappy regen health

To be honest, mags is more realistic and makes you a better player. You can't just spray 15 bullets from a 30 bullet mag and then hope that when reloading you get those 15 other bullets back. It's stupid and makes you think more when playing.

I prefer the system to what they have now. Having a mag count is more realistic, sure. But at times its tedious and just ruins the gameplay.

Take the good things from both and you already have a pretty good game

I think it would be fair that a tactical reload should be quicker than a reload when you've run dry.

Removing the round counter and auto-reload feature would be more realistic and require more skill.

That's probably the only niggle I find with the new system. I'd much rather they'd add that bit more realism.

Also, when the guy lobs the grenade at the RPG soldier, the soldier acts as if nothing has happened, when the grenade brushed by his face. Poor AI on that count. One thing that CoD did get right was grenades getting thrown back.

ya but its typically so damn easy, unorganized, and downright gay for the most part.  kind of odd to make sp when most people prefer mp.

TBH I like singleplayer when it's done right, but games like BF aren't really made for SP. Judging by the trailers it's the same fighting-against-bots type of boring stuff as always with a few nice ingame cutscenes mixed in. Nevertheless it's a nice addition for if you get bored.

As long as the multiplayer is A++ I'm OK with that. Seen the 12 min trailer, very brief look of the vehicles but it was sexy.

More attention to the game I guess, as the trailers turn up everywhere.

If a fps game comes with a single player I will play it (and generally before I play muliplayer so I have a feel for the game), but I don't buy games for the singleplayer.
