Didn't know that, thnx for info. Although the 1/4 ticket rule should tell you if you risk getting an auto-balance loss, this is a way to make sure you avoid it.JE3146 wrote:
Might also want to add, that if you end up in a server and on a losing team with 10 tickets left, if you DO NOT spawn, you will not get the loss. The second you spawn, you'll be recorded for the win or loss. So don't panic... just move the mouse around and sip some beer for the remaining minute or so.
Just to clarify, this is when you initially join the server, if you are auto'd to the losing team, and there is X number of tickets left. Don't spawn and you won't get a lossvoltage wrote:

Now whether or not if you get autoswitched to a losing side and you've been playing all game. I wonder if you don't spawn, if you'll not get the loss? This is something I haven't tried, but it seems it would follow suite with my initial point. I might try to prove this. That'd be a huge thing if it were true.
plus. Smiley got his stats reset for that, and you deserve to have yours reset too if you teamswitch for the win.:]-[: El_Shiznit wrote:
I have the award, and although you have tested Myth #1, I have too. And I disagree (Even though it isn't a matter of opinion ).
They may have changed some of the last few patches, but back when I got it, I KNOW that is not a myth. There would be days in which I would have to teamswitch several times in order to get the award. When I came back to bf2s.com every day, I would still never take a single loss. And when I did switch, I would make sure I helped out the team as much as possible and only switched when there were 3 or less tickets.
Like I said, maybe EA or DICE decided to change it, but from my experience months ago, it was exactly how I just said.
Actually it's three wins, not two.FI-SCOTTY wrote:
I know its been said but the longer you leave this ....the harder it gets, for me it would mean 1246 straight wins, which is just not possible.During the process any loss would have to met by two wins,to keep the 3-1.
Nope I guess its not for me
LOL, yeah I remember that. I did a pretty good job on a day to day basis of pissing SOMEONE off in that clan. I'm not very good with clans. Not that I lose sleep over what NoSaint thinks of me, or OTB, or LIX, or -I4nI- or -=-T-=- or 101stAB or the old [SOB] guys. I'm probably the most hated person in the BF2 community and I think it's pretty damn funny people kick up such a fuss over me, lol.Empathy wrote:
Lol coug, remember when we were pissing off the rest of the 6th trying to get our ribbons? needless to say we both did it. Myself with minimal amounts of teamswapping, and alot of empty 64 man servers trying to get those 45 IAR pts
PLEASE DON'T! Unless you actually know how to play BF2. Otherwise you pretty much make your team lose.Doctuh wrote:
If you are really desperate for the ribbon, just follow around a guy like BushViper or any of the top players, they are mostly trending around 5:1 W:L at this point.
only 459 wins to go! I've been commanding on Wake Island a lot and my W/L on that map is up to 3.62. I figure if I keep playing Wake I'll get it in about 100-200 more hours play time. I'm going to get my Expert Command Badge as well as Distinguished Service Medal and People's Medallion on the way, as well.
I might take your advice on the 16/16 karkand, the commander on the roof with an AT sounds perfect for defending the market. Then all you need is a good tankwhore to hold them off the hotel... But then I won't be playing on my clan's servers, where I'm best. Long rounds, but I can usually manage the win because I'm a pretty good player.
Edit: Got 8 wins in a row yesterday, only 459 wins to go!

Myth 1, 2 and 4 are wrong. I teamswapped at 1 tickets and i still get the wins.
And if you disconnect in a match and the team you were in won, you get the win.
I have tested this loads of times.

I agree. some of the myths are wrong.. I have often joined a server with 10 or 20 tickets left on one of the sides.. if I started on the loosing side, I could switch to the winning side and still get the win registered. and if I played a whole round, and was about to loose big time, I could alvays disconnect with eg. 20 tickets left, and NOT get a loss.
and maybe you don't loose you award once given, but unfortunately if you succeed to forfill the 3 win loss requirement, (eg. 4 loss 12 wins and get the green sign) and afterwoods get under 3.0 (eg. 5 loss 12 wins), you will get the red X instead, and you will need 3 moore wins to forfill the requirement yet again..

Doesn't matter. 1.3 is going to nuke the WCR anyways.
File this under "No longer useful due to EA involvement". Also file "How to use squads" and "Expert Knife and Pistol badge Guide" there too.

Make a new acocunt so your losses during your noob days wont affect your ratio. Also you prolly know what servers to play by now.
