For a learner, going down isnt a question of if, its a question of when. I almost died when I rode in a thunderstorm for the first time and at night. Since I had a long trip i rode out of the storm and wiped out on a wet road when an S bend caught me off guard. I ended up maintaing enough control to let the bike go where it wanted to instead winding up in oncoming traffic. Luckly i had a helmet on when i got dumped off in wet grass. Helmets are a must because when you get thrown down at 40/45mph there is nothing you can do to hold ur head up.Dauntless wrote:
