HI, i've posted twice before and i'm unsure as to what to do still.

I'm currently running on a broadband cable after my wireless begain to take massive dives in packet reception and sending since febuary, to my knowledge my neighbour next door got his broadband (wireless) around the same time that my wireless began to enter its random phase.

This pissed me off to no limit when i couldnt play BF2 with my Clan Mates :( At that time i believed that maybe it was just my routers signal strenght which always showed as excellent but my packets again sucked so i switched to a cable in the hope that a solid broadband connection would fix the problem, but its still just as bad as i dont know why. I mantain my pcs health very well by running regular scans for adware, viruses and such so i honestly believe it can be that.

The Router PC (my dads) recieves 1million times the packets i get, my sister had to switch back to modem because it got so bad and my other sister has a pc so unsecure and full of crap from all these crappy sites she goes on which recently have begun affected my IE/ Mozilla browsing.

I dunno what else to do, my Broadband Should be working fine as a cable or wireless but it just hit this stupid phase around febuary and i dunno what else to do :(

Any Ideas?

Is it possible to run ethernet to your comp.  You already have the router, try to figure out a way to hard wire it.

My second comp is wireless, it's just used to surf the web and such so it's great.

I have only heard a small percent of people who can game online with wireless.  Seems to really not like bf2.

I hardwired my old house, took a few days, was well worth it though.

You can also try this site, been using it for years.  Lots of reg patches for broadband conns.

Good luck!
