Lucky you then. They usually are good, they seem to fail to pinpoint the reason for his failures though. Guess you can´t ask too much for that pricemax wrote:

You're a dolt.
Facebook is used by pretty much anyone from the age of 12 - 40. How can you even justify your comment, stereotypes? Really? You must wear a fucking kilt every day don't you.
onto the Mac vs PC
I hate how people think their opinions are fact in these kinds of matters. "Windowss is Betterrrr than Mac, No PC is betterrrrr" etc.
They're both Operating Systems, sure, but their main purpose and target audience varies between each other. So to simply state that your preference, in your scenario, should be fact for other scenarios just shits all over your intelligence.

How does that even correspond to the matter at hand whatsoever?
anyway, I can justify that joke by stereotypes. That was the whole fucking point of it. Stereotypically, macfags use Facebook. Poll on Facebook "mac or pc", mac is losing, that's funny. That's all there was to it.. then everyone comes in as if I've just insulted their sainted mother or something, sheesh, chill the fuck out guys, it was just a half arsed joke.

i mean you've said before that you think macbooks (and pros) are lovely bits of kit
you've mentioned and signed in to your local starbucks at least 5 times
i'm seeing a pattern here

So I need a program that will monitor total Internet usage for set periods of a time - basically for my girlfriend to make sure she doesn't go over her monthly limit on this mobile broadband thing.
Any suggestions? I know I can Google, but I'd like experiences - if possible.

People used to use DUMeter for that.
Used to?
"Used to" as in "back when many people last had a reason to monitor their usage." It was pretty simple, and could give overviews for any given period of time when I last used it.
i would think that the carrier or provider would have tools readily available to monitor your usage. FFlink, have you looked into that yet?
